Relay is open source, and it's free to run yourself. Relay Cloud is the same Relay, run by us, for $20/month.

Self-host or Relay Cloud

It's the same software either way: open source under the MIT license, with every feature and no "enterprise edition".

• Self-hosting is free forever. You run the upgrades, backups and push certificates yourself. See the README for how.
• The name is protected. You can fork Relay, but a fork can't be called "Relay".
• Relay Cloud is us running it for you, for $20/month.

Your free trial

Relay Cloud starts with 30 days free, and you don't need a card to start. Add a card in Billing to keep going after the trial.

What you pay

$20/month for unlimited boards. The board owner pays, and invited members are free. It's monthly only, for now.

If a payment fails

We email you and show a banner on your boards. Update your card in Billing. If it isn't fixed, your boards become read-only until you pay. Nothing is deleted.

Cancelling

Cancel anytime. You keep access through the date you've paid up to. There are no refunds, and your data is kept.

On iOS

The app shows your plan's status. You pay on the web.
